In 2016, St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Michael Wacha is joining Papa John’s in supporting kids at Shriner’s Hospital for Children in St. Louis.
The right-hander visited the hospital last year and filmed a special video with its patient ambassadors. This year, he is increasing his involvement through his Dreambuilders program and its partnership with Papa John’s, by giving $1 of each “Michael Wacha Special” sold during the 2016 season to his program’s support of children at Shriners.
Since 1924, Shriners Hospitals for Children — St. Louis’s board-certified surgeons and staff have been providing high-quality pediatric orthopaedic care to children, regardless of the families’ ability to pay.
